aide-dynamic software package provides Advanced Intrusion Detection Environment - dynamic binary, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aide-dynamic
aide-dynamic is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aide-dynamic package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aide-dynamic *
You will get with aide-dynamic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
